The Corps of Royal Engineers Technical Symposium

The 2020 Technical Symposium is being conducted virtually over a two day period 4-5 Nov, focusing on present and future operations and how to improve quality within military construction projects.  

Day One 4 Nov 2020.

Open day of the technical symposium will be looking at how the Technical Part of the Corps of Royal Engineers has been supporting the MOD and wider government organisations over the last 12 Months.

Day Two 5 Nov 2020.

The second day of the symposium will be looking at this years main question, Quality in Military Construction projects.  The day will look at present processes and how modern methods could address existing quality concerns.

Caroline Gumble

CEO CIOB

Caroline Gumble and the CIOB have been working with industry to place quality at the centre of all their projects.  Caroline will discuss how by working closely with both industry and sector organisations we can all benefit from greater quality standards.

Jaimie is the author of the UK strategy 'Delivery Platforms for Government Assets' and is a leader in designing and implementing innovative platform construction processes across the industry.  His philosophy centres on the ability to design for a manufacturing-like approach, be that on site or within the supply chain, enabling low skilled work forces to facilitate a range of infrastructure solutions.
